Mont-Tremblant to host 2nd Annual Québec Provincial Fly Fishing Championship -September 11-12, 2010
The Club des Moucheurs EnDiablés of Mont-Tremblant is sponsoring the two-day Québec Provincial Championship which will include a total of four (4) fishing sessions devided equally between the Diable River and the Baroux Outfitter lakes. Team USA wins 6th NFFC in Tremblant
Over 70 of Canada's top fly anglers competed in a 5-member team format for top honours in this annual hook and release national fly fishing championship which took place in Mont -Tremblant Québec from September 7 to 13. This year's event included for the first time a junior team as well as a Team USA which gave the event an international flavor. Competitors were challenged by Tremblant's premier flyfishing-only Diable River as well as the headwater lakes of the area's Baroux Outfitter. A one-day trade show and Conservation Symposium complemented the event. The Grand Lodge also provided an ideal setting for the awards diner and closing ceremony. See full schedule here.
