In addition to a valid Québec fishing license, daily access fees and fishing access charges must be purchased at the entrance of both Mont-Tremblant National and the Rouge-Mattawin reserve. Boat and motors rental is available for most fishing lakes at additional cost. Fishing access rights to any of the lakes can be reserved in advance by calling 1-800-665-6527 (within Québec) or 1-418-890-6527 (outside Québec). All reservations not kept, and any other available lake access are offered through a lottery draw at 8 a.m. each morning to those at the gate, so be there well ahead to get your name in the draw.
