Starting in 2010, NaturAventur introduces its proprietary rating system of the weekly fishing conditions on the Diable River. Our simple Fish Index goes hand in hand with our weekly fishing reports to help you better plan your fishing adventure. Over time it is hoped that you will be able to relate our index values with your own angling experiences on the Diable River under similar rating conditions.
Factors that go into determining the weekly Fish Index include river water levels, water temperature, the forecasted ambient weather patterns and fish activity. Each week we evaluate several parameters under each of these factors to arrive at the overall Fish Index rating for the week.
